The Village is a very friendly, open-minded "resort" for all sexualities, encouraged and embraced by the City of Manchester and its residents.

Although some narrow minded people still exist in the City, for the main gay and straight people converge on the Village in huge numbers, with one intention...to have a bloody good time!

The Gay Village is centred around Chorlton Street and Canal Street, just a few minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens, as far as Dale Street, and includes Sackville Street, Whitworth Street and Princess Street.
