At the tall traffic lights, turn left off the a4 into Bathwick Street (a36) signed for Bristol and Exeter. Cross over the bridge and passed the fire station on your left. At the mini roundabout, turn right into Pulteney Road. Continue straight over the next roundabout. Turn right at the traffic lights, using the filter lane, into North Parade; The Abbey Hotel is at the end of North Parade, opposite the traffic lights. Bath is approximately 10 miles from the M4. The route indicated avoids the Bus Gates.
